Dinner with Pati & Bruce

Hungarian Style Meatloaf with Paprika Gravy on January 28

I made a big batch of Bruce’s favorite gravy on Sunday: paprika gravy.  It’s a Hungarian sauce made with sour cream, onions, tomatoes, chiles, garlic, and of course paprika.  On this day, I made a Hungarian style meatloaf with onions, tomatoes, garlic, green onions, paprika, and sour cream and served it with some of  the paprika gravy (there’s enough for one more meal).  We had truffled mashed potatoes and roasted mustard greens and tatsoi to balance the meal.  We drank a bottle of Trivento 2005 malbec from Argentina.
