Another Pizza Adventure on July 5
Bruce made pizza again. The first one was a 4 cheese: Parmesan, smoked mozzarella, provolone, and homemade mozzarella with green garlic, and homemade tomato sauce. The pizza was topped with prosciutto, arugula, and drizzled with chile oil after it came out of the oven. We took this picture after we already had some….oops..

Pizza #2 was a grilled mushroom pizza with shitake, scallop, and yellow oyster mushrooms, green garlic, porcini oil, homemade mozzarella, provolone, and a little San Marzano tomato sauce. The pizza was topped with grilled radicchio after it came out of the oven. This one sprung a leak and stuck to the pizza stone so was not as pretty.

Pizza #3 was made with San Marzano tomato sauce, black and green olives, provolone, smoked mozzarella, and green garlic. It was topped with prosciutto and chile oil after it came out of the oven.

Pizza #4 was made with San Marzano tomato sauce, homemade mozzarella, Parmesan, smoked mozzarella, green garlic, and was topped with fresh basil and chile oil when it came out of the oven.

We were going to have a salad, but were too full from the pizza. We drank a bottle of Corletto Lambrusco 2004. Bruce did a great job making pizza; he is definitely on his way to becoming a pizzaiolo!
