Meatballs!
This recipe can easily be increased. Just double, triple or quadruple the ingredients as listed here . I can never just make 1 lb. of meatballs!
Ingredients:
1 lb. ground beef
1 handful of breadcrumbs (I generally use Panko)
1 egg
1 tbsp. flour
3 tbsp. milk
garlic and onion powder to taste
2 tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (or more to taste)
Method:
Mix all ingredients together and form balls that fit in the palm of your hand.
(The general rule of thumb is that you should be able to make at least 8 meatballs per pound of meat).
Brown meatballs in olive oil and then add to tomato sauce. Simmer with sauce for a minimum of 1 hour and serve with pasta.
An alternative method is to bake in the oven covered with tomato sauce at 350 for 1 hour.
Serve with pasta of your choice, tomato sauce and garlic bread.
