My Family’s Garlic Bread
This recipe is not the garlic bread you get in typical Italian restaurants. It is definitely for lovers of garlic. Vampires—beware!
Ingredients:
1 loaf of fresh french, or sourdough french bread
1 stick of butter
1-2 bulbs of garlic, peeled, and chopped fine
Method:
Preheat oven at 350F. Slice loaf lengthwise. Melt butter in saute’ pan and add chopped garlic.
Saute’ garlic until lightly browned. Top bread with garlic butter mixture (if there isn’t enough butter, add more).
Put bread in oven for 20-30 minutes until the top is toasted. Slice and serve. Make sure you account for the fallen garlic!!!
