Really Homemade Pizza for Bruce on August 18

I have been promising Bruce that I would make pizza for a couple of weeks, so this was the night!!  I made homemade dough in the bread machine, and cooked down some homemade tomato sauce to thicken it to pizza sauce consistency.  I had already made some mozzarella cheese a few days before in preparation for the pizza.  I sliced up some prosciutto from the whole one I had bought many months back (it’s our last quarter and I’ve been hoarding it since the Euro skyrocketed), sauteed some shitake and maitake mushrooms, added some fresh garlic and onion, and sliced black olives.  It came out great!!!

Bruce made a salad with the leftover anchovy dressing: mixed greens, carrots, radish, and anchovy stuffed olives from Spain.  We drank a bottle of Pepperwood Grove Zinfandel 2006.
