Non-traditional Cobb Salad on July 9
We made a very untraditional, ‘cooking from the pantry’ Cobb Salad by adding roasted shitake mushrooms and aged Gouda cheese. The dressing was wimpy and I tried to ‘doctor’ it to no avail. However, because I tried to make it taste better, I made double the amount and we had to use it for the rest of the week in our salads so as not to be wasteful.
We drank a bottle of Sokol Blosser 2006 Rose’.
